Do you hold my private keys?

PolyTortoise creates a per-user smart wallet signer and stores it encrypted at rest so the bot can execute the copy, withdrawal, and fee-sweep actions you enable. We do not pool user funds or ask for your external wallet seed phrase.

How fast is leader-trade detection?

Sub-second detection. The bot subscribes to Polygon WebSocket for OrderFilled events, while a 2-second REST fallback runs in parallel for redundancy. Telegram delivery and copy completion can vary with network and market conditions.

Can I track any wallet?

Yes. Use /watch 0xWALLETADDRESS in chat to track any Polymarket wallet, not just the top-30 leaderboard. You can copy buys, sells, or both.

Can I trade manually?

Yes. The Telegram Mini App has a Trade tab for searching markets and buying outcomes in paper mode or live mode once your wallet is funded.

Does PolyTortoise support take-profit and stop-loss?

Yes. Set take-profit and stop-loss percentages in /settings, they apply to both paper and live positions. The TP/SL worker scans positions every 10 seconds and auto-exits when the threshold is crossed. Live exits submit a real sell order through your wallet. Leader sells can also be mirrored separately.
